Happy New Year

Tweet I visited Elina's blog and it inspired me to create a new page, actually stayed up late and created 3 new pages (can be seen in my gallery @ Oscraps), I'm only posting the one here. I can't believe another year has gone by....Bailey had his seventh birthday on the 29th. He is such a wonderful addition to this world. He is not your typical little boy, he is so sweet and thoughtful, such a joy. Anyway, I hope the new year brings happiness and joy to all. Happy New Year..

A little creativity

Tweet I was creating some new paper, just basically messing around when I was pleased with the color of the paper and thought red, it needs something red. So I added some red and then thought I have a picture of Bailey that would look good on this, so needless to say I added a little of this and that and I scrapped a page. Not what I started out doing. Well, at least I'm pleased with the page. I think I'll try another paper or two, we'll see.... I do enjoy surprises.

Newbie

Tweet I'm new to the digi-scrapbooking, I've been a paper scrapper since the birth of my grandson in 2001. I was introduced to it by google when I was looking for a store near where I moved. I'm totally hooked. I've always enjoyed the creativity of scrapbooking, however there are no limits in the digi-world. I use to think you had to "fill" up a page, realized that is "9 kinds of wrong". I've been very busy since the introduction to this medium working on a scrapbook for a Christmas present. It was for my grown daughter, birth until marriage. I plan to create more on my own, give away and sell some things. Here are a few of the pages I finished for the book. Also, I created a DVD slideshow with music on a LightScribe disk to accompany her book. I would love to know what you think. Have a wonderful New Year !
